Lemon is one of the richest fruits with vitamins B and C (which may be called vitamin C or C). Examples of B vitamins are vitamin B2 or riboflavin, which is important for the formation of red blood cells and the production of antibodies, as well as vitamin B3 or niacin, whose deficiency leads to pellagra. Lemon also contains carbohydrates and a number of mineral compounds such as calcium and potassium. In terms of vitamins C, they are important for healthy bones, teeth and gums.
